Workshop Instructor:

Tonya LeMone

Workshop Details:

With it’s fresh burst of color, the Phalaenopsis orchid is the perfect pick-me-up for the season.  It’s dramatic flowers, look divine in large or small spaces, and it’s an easy to care for plant. In this workshop we will be elevating the look of the Phalaenopsis by wrapping it into a moss ball or Kokedama — a bonsai tradition from Japan. When completed Kokedama’s are easy to care for and make beautiful additions to any home. Also included in this workshop is a terra-cotta bowl in a mossy grey shade.  The saucer allows the Kokedama to be displayed on tables, countertops, shelves or anywhere you would like. All supplies and materials are included in the cost of the workshop and we’ll teach best care practices for the care and upkeep of your new string garden. Please Note: Due to a local requirement by the Utah County Health Department, masks will be required.
