Workshop Instructor:

Tonya LeMone

Workshop Details:

The Staghorn fern is having a moment right now, and rightfully so.  It’s dramatic fronds, look divine in large or small spaces, and it’s an easy to care for plant.  In this workshop we will be elevating the look of the Staghorn by taking it out of it’s pot and wrapping it into a moss ball or Kokedama — a bonsai tradition from Japan.  When completed Kokedama’s are easy to care for and make beautiful additions to any home. Our handmade moss grey terra-cotta dish is included in this workshop and allows the Kokedama to be displayed on tables, countertops, shelves or anywhere you would like. All supplies and materials are included in the cost of the workshop and we’ll teach best care practices for the care and upkeep of your new string garden.
