These gorgeous Fineleaf Fruitless Olea Olive trees just landed at the nursery, and to say we’re not OBSESSING over these beauties would be an understatement— 🌿✨ Quantities are limited! Details Below 👇🏻 If you could take this beauty home, would you? Share below 👇🏻 🪴 Details: 🪴Consider them an oversized houseplant here in the northern part of the beehive 🐝state! 🪴They can be kept outside as a patio tree here in Utah during the warmer months and then brought back inside to a part of your home that receives a good amount of natural light during the cooler months. Or they can be kept indoors year-round. 🌞 Fruitless olives need 6-8 hours of sunlight daily for optimal health. 🌱 Well-draining potting soil is essential for a healthy fruitless olive tree. 🍃Olive trees don’t require a lot of fertilizer, but they do benefit from occasional feeding. Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in the spring, and repeat once or twice during the growing season if needed. 💧 When placed outside, water deeply daily or every other day depending on its location and heat intensity. On days when temps reach over 85 degrees, check the soil! If the soil feels moist, you can continue with every other day watering. 💜🌿LAVENDER 101: Know Your Varieties! ✨Here’s a quick guide to 4 popular types of lavender that you’ll find here in the nursery — 💜🌿English Lavender Classic and compact with a rich, true lavender scent. Blooms from late spring through summer and is ideal for drying, making sachets, used in essential oils, and cooking. The bees love this one! 🐝 💜🌿Spanish Lavender Easy to recognize because it’s blooms are topped with whimsical “bunny-like ears.” Blooms early and often-great for containers. Generally not winter hardy here in Utah though. 💜🌿French Lavender Finer foliage and tends to have a lighter, more rosemary-like herbal fragrance. Loved for its longer blooming period and pollinator power. Perfect for garden borders and a soft, airy look. 💜🌿Fern-leaf Lavender Fernleaf looks distinctively different than other garden lavenders. It has silvery, fern-like foliage that gives off an almost lacy appearance. The long stems are topped with graceful blue-violet flowers.
