After sharing our recent olive tree shipment, our inbox kept filling up with the same concern:“My olive tree is dropping leaves — what am I doing wrong?”— well…. we’re here to tell you: don’t stress. 🍃 Winter indoors can be a big adjustment for olive trees. Less daylight hours, lower light, drier air, and subtle temperature shifts from heating systems can all lead to a little leaf drop — even when your care routine feels just right. Often it’s simply the tree conserving energy during a slower season. So, try making these few small adjustments to your plants care routine, and with a little patience you’ll notice a big difference this time of year👇🏻 • Watering: In winter, olives prefer to dry out a bit more between waterings. Let the top few inches of soil dry before watering. • Light: Place your tree in the brightest spot you have — ideally a sunny room with several hours of bright, indirect light. • Air + Heat: Keep it away from heat vents and consider adding a bit of humidity to prevent leaves from drying out. The good news?
